Three Reasons to Change Your Oral B Toothbrush Heads Regularly

!9#: Three Reasons to Change Your Oral B Toothbrush Heads Regularly

Most people don't know this, or choose to not act on it if they do know it, but electric toothbrush heads need to be changed regularly. Electric toothbrushes are known for their exceptional ability to removal plaque and keep teeth and gums healthy, but all that is certainly not possible if brush is not maintained properly.

The most important aspect of maintaining an electric toothbrush, aside from charging it obviously, is to change the brush heads every few months. Just as regular toothbrushes need to be replaced every three months, electric toothbrush heads need to be changed too! There are three important reasons for this.

A worn out toothbrush head loses it rigidity and shape and this can cause trouble, bringing us to reason number one. If you observed carefully, you will find that the bristles on oral toothbrush heads are of different sizes and angles. This is because the brush head is meant to glide over the contours of a tooth and clean different areas of the mouth properly. A worn out brush heads with soft bristles fails to do its job properly, leading to unclean teeth, and ultimately serious dental problems.

The second reason is also related to soft and pliable bristles. Brushing with new oral b brush heads can feel markedly different on teeth and gums from brushing with worn out old brush heads. However, to compensate for the softness of a brush head, we tend to apply more pressure with the brush on our teeth than we would with a new brush. It is this increased pressure that can do a lot of harm to the health of teeth and gums. Too much pressure while brushing can damage gums and result in loss of enamel on teeth. Enamel is the protective layer on teeth, without which teeth can become sensitive and rather painful.

The third reason is purely a matter of hygiene. As time passes, bacteria from the mouth can get accumulated in a toothbrush head. using a toothbrush head for a little while longer than recommended is one thing, but continuing to use a worn out, tired looking, and bacteria ridden toothbrush head day after day, is something else altogether!

Oral b is one of the leading toothbrush and dental care product brand in the world today, and Braun's oral b power toothbrushes are probably superior to any other, but even those are of no use if the oral b toothbrush heads are not replaced aptly.

Here is what I anticipate about this toothbrush.

Consumer Review of CrossAction Power Whitening Toothbrush. I really like the clean feeling I get after using this toothbrush..I feel that it's done its job well. The only downfall that I see is how loud it is.
